Baku Architectural Tour - Stop 6

It used to be the Lenin museum. Now it's a carpet/national history museum, I think. I haven't actually been inside yet. It's one of those things I'll get to just before I leave.

Beautiful building! Its good to have the person in the picture, to give a sense of scale.

Well, when you enter the building pay attention to a dusty and rusty printing machine in the lobby - it was used to print illegal Bolshevik newspaper "Iskra" in Baku - then the copies were distributed throughout whole Russian Empire. I tell this, because there are no guides there and if not an old Russian cleaner, I myself would miss it. The rest of the museums there are .... :((((
